YVONNE H. CLARK of Pullman passed away on June 11, 2014 at Avalon Care Center in Pullman, WA. Yvonne was born July 27, 1918 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Lloyd Russell & Alta Jane (Ellison) Holland. She grew up and attended school in Cardston and Spring Coulee, Alberta, Canada. Following her high school graduation, Yvonne worked for a time before moving to the United States in the late 1940's. She came to Spokane, WA where she met Jack Clark and they were married on October 17, 1966. Together they made their home in Palouse, WA on the Clark family farm. Following Jack's death in 2005 Yvonne moved to Pullman, where she made Bishop Place her home, until recently moving to Whitman Senior Living. Yvonne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker throughout her life. She loved to spend time at the winter home in Yuma, AZ as well as the lake home on Lake Chatcolet in North Idaho. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Avalon Care Center for their tender care of our mother, grandmother and sister. Yvonne is survived by her daughter Sharon Meldrum of Pullman; three sisters; Beth Barnett of Oyen, Alberta. Margaret Beare of Logan Lake, BC and Carol (Jim) Cyr of Brooks, Alberta and her two grandsons Scott Ulen & Neal (Amy)Ulen. She is also survived by her stepsons Steve (Donna) Clark; Terry (Mary Etta) Clark; step grandsons David (Chelsea) Clark & Dale Clark; step great grandsons Jim, Jack & Daniel Clark. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Jack; a grandson Brian & three brothers Ellison, Kay, & Gary Holland. No public services are planned. A private family graveside service will be held at the Albion Cemetery later this summer. Kimball Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
