Angelina Irene Louise D'Amato died unexpectedly on January 30, 2026, following a tragic car accident. She was just 22 years old. Her family is heartbroken and deeply saddened by her sudden passing.
Born on January 25, 2004, in Renton, Washington, Angelina grew up surrounded by family, friendship, and community. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the rare ability to make anyone feel instantly welcome. Angelina could walk into a room, look someone in the eye, and make them feel like they had known her forever.
Angelina is survived and lovingly remembered by her father, Jonathan D'Amato, and mother, Christina D'Amato; her sisters, Amanda Beltran (32), Sophia D'Amato (20), and Olivia D'Amato (18); her grandparents, Patricia Kapur, Conrad D'Amato, and Cheryl D'Amato; her aunts Nicole D'Amato and Katie Earls; her uncle James Earls; and her many cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who loved her like their own.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Margaret D'Amato and grandfather John Earls.
Angelina attended Boise State University before transferring to Washington State University, where she studied Accounting and Construction Management. She had already completed her graduation requirements and was preparing to receive her diploma this May. She was proud to be a Coug and cherished her time in Pullman, including her work at Walmart, where she connected with and brightened the days of so many in the community.
Some of Angelina's greatest joys came from making memories with family and close friends. She loved traveling, laughing, reading books, Disney and embracing every new opportunity. She was especially excited about an upcoming study abroad program in China and a visit to Shanghai Disneyland. Angelina had a smile that could light up any room. She danced to every song, sang every word — even when the lyrics weren't quite right — and lived life with enthusiasm and heart. Her legacy reminds us to be bold, to seize every opportunity, to smile often, and to keep dancing, even in the rain.
Angelina will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, in Auburn Washington on Friday, February 20th at 11am.
There are no words to fully express the gratitude we feel for the family, friends, and community who have supported us during this unimaginable time. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pullman and Colfax emergency responders, bystanders, Washington State University, the residents of Pullman, the Washington State Patrol, the Whitman County Coroner, and Corbeill Funeral Home for their care and compassion in carrying us through these past weeks.
